you listen to the songs that once meant something between the two of you and instead of feeling the love you’re feeling the loss. you cry alone at night and when you hear foot-steps down the hallway you quicky wipe them away. you pass by places that you both used to go to and all the memories flood your mind. you hear their name and you stop breathing for an instant. you can’t seem to let go, and therefore all the pictures still hang in your room. you can’t seem to move on and believe that it’s over until your reminded by your facebook relationship status. you start to hang out with the friends you used to have even though it’s not the same because it’s been too long. you pretend your okay when you pass them in the halls but you can’t help but glance back everytime wondering if they miss you too. you can’t let go. you can’t forget. and the reason is… because what you had was real. and it was love <3
